Trauma, whether triggered by an event that took place in childhood or adulthood, can be extremely debilitating. What most people don’t realise is that it can be resolved in just a few sessions. I offer therapy for all kinds of traumas, including birth trauma and PTSD.
What is birth trauma?
If you are a birth professional (midwife, doula, consultant, etc.) and suffer from birth trauma because of a difficult or traumatic birth you have witnessed, please go here.
Birth doesn’t have to be extremely traumatic to be classed as ‘birth trauma’. It can ‘just’ be ‘difficult’, or ‘long’, or very simply a birth where you felt out of control and things were done to you, rather than you orchestrating your birth, a birth where you make all the decisions.
I didn’t have birth trauma as such first time around (saying so would be an insult to those who have suffered true trauma), but I was left completely disempowered and feeling like I had been forced and scared into a decision, with the wrong information to boot.
It left me in limbo for a few months as the turn my pregnancy took right at the end shocked me (breech diagnosis at 39 weeks) and then a baby was taken out of me through an incision in my belly. It didn’t feel like I had given birth, I felt guilty and I felt cheated. The plan had been to give birth vaginally at my local birth centre. No other thoughts had ever entered my mind. Yet 40 weeks pregnant, I was faced with the high possibility of a C-section, and at 41 weeks and 3 days I had one.
I had a good C-section experience, I healed well, my baby was healthy, yet I definitely could have done with a birth trauma session.
Just so I could feel good about my birth (whatever shape it took) and about the work my body had done for 9 months, regardless of how my baby came out of my uterus.
Just so I could come to terms with the fact that I hadn’t given birth vaginally.
Just so I could forgive the people who had scared me into a C-section while giving me wrong figures from a flawed study.
So whether you had an extremely difficult birth, a traumatic birth or ‘just’ an ‘unexpected’ birth, do get in touch if it still affects you, whether it happened a month ago, a year ago or 10 years ago. We can carry these wounds for years, yet there is a very simple technique that I use to make all your symptoms go away in just one or two sessions.
You will still remember the event and its details, but you won’t feel all the emotions that are attached to it. You will not be emotionally triggered by the memory any more.

Childhood trauma, adulthood trauma and PTSD
As for birth trauma, any other kind of trauma – whether it happened in childhood or in adulthood – can be resolved in just a few sessions, thanks to EFT, IEMT, NLP and hypnosis (see this page to find out what these therapy techniques are). These modalities allow you to separate your emotions from the memories, so that you still remember the event(s) but are not triggered by them emotionally. They happened, but they don’t affect you any more and you can live your life in a much more relaxed, much happier way. You can live the life you deserve.
All my sessions are weekly and last around 1.5 hours (the first session is 2 hours). Healing from these conditions requires commitment, so I have created a special 5-session bundle for you, which will also save you £48.
- First session: £92
- Other sessions: £77 per session
- 5-session bundle: £352
Payments can be made by bank transfer, cash, debit card or credit card.
